The Cowhead Show is an American radio program hosted by Mike "Cowhead" Calta and broadcast live Monday through Friday on WHPT in the Tampa Bay area, Florida and re-broadcast on Rock105 (WFYV) Jacksonville from 7p to 11p.

Cowhead (born Michael Calta in Staten Island, New York on September 20, 1971) is the creator and host of The Cowhead Show. Cowhead has been doing radio in the Tampa Bay area since 1992. He got his start on the Bubba the Love Sponge Show when it aired at night on WFLZ. Galvin joined The Cowhead show in February 2007. Since then The Cowhead Show (and variations of it) have aired on: WQYK AM Sports Radio 1010 The Team as The Replacement Show WRBQ Q105 as AW and Cowhead WYUU Outlaw 92.5 Kick Ass Country as Cowhead and Brent WXTB 98 Rock as The Cowhead Show WHPT 102.5 The Bone The Cowhead Show WFYV Rock 105 The Cowhead Show

The last morning show aired January 4, 2008. The Cowhead show began afternoon broadcasts on Monday, January 7, 2008. The move came to make room for the return of Bubba the Love Sponge to terrestrial radio. This move was not only significant because of Bubba's return after the largest fine in the history of the FCC, but because of the history the two have had. Bubba had sued Cowhead in the past claiming that he in fact owned the rights to the name Cowhead. A Hillsborough County judge ruled in favor of Cowhead, twice.

On January 17, 2010, Cowhead launched a weekly half-hour television program, Cowhead TV, on local CW affiliate WTOG, Sunday nights at 11PM. The program time slot will be purchased by Cowhead from WTOG (along the lines of an infomercial or brokered program), and Cowhead will sell all ad time during the program.[1][2]

June 2010 Cowhead introduced CowheadTV.com, a free 24 hour television broadcast website where viewers can watch the entire broadcast live on the internet. The show is shot with 10 HD cameras and directed by Joseph DiSanto.

On May 18, 2011 Cowhead told his listeners to call the Boston Bruins marketing department, due to the Bruins putting up a billboard in Boston claiming that Tampa Bay Lightning fans do not exist.
